Hi, I’m Rachel, a photographer based in Northwest Michigan, just two blocks from the lake. Living here, I draw endless inspiration from my surroundings and the natural beauty that surrounds me. With nearly 10 years of professional experience and a BFA in Photography from Northern Michigan University (2020), I specialize in capturing real, authentic moments through a documentary-style approach that emphasizes community, connection, and storytelling.
My work spans a range of subjects—from the high-energy of live music to the tranquil beauty of nature. My main focus is helping small businesses stand out with creative, eye-catching visual content. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me outdoors, embracing what Mother Nature has to offer. Whether it’s backcountry skiing with my partner and our two pups or ripping local bike trails, I love living in this four-season playground. I’m a huge advocate for type 2 fun and an even bigger advocate for boogying down to live music. I’m all about enjoying life to the fullest with a smile on my face and a local brew in hand.
