Hi, I’m Rachel Haggerty. I’m a freelance photographer, social media marketer, and what the kids are calling nowadays a “creative”. I currently live and work in Northwest Michigan along the coast of Lake Michigan. Going to college in Marquette, Michigan and now living on the edge of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, a lot of my inspiration is drawn from my natural surroundings. My work centers around community, connection, and storytelling.
I love collaborating with local businesses, artists, and folks, to tell their story and bring their vision to life in the most authentic way possible. I believe the best moments worth documenting are naturally occurring. If you’re looking for narrative-driven, documentary-style photos of your life, business, or anything in between, I’m your gal.
When I’m not working, you can find me outdoors embracing our four-season playground. Whether it’s skiing with my partner, Reiss and our two pups, playing in the big lake, or ripping local bike trails, I’m a huge advocate for type 2 fun, a good pint, and a good time.
